28th February is observed as National Science Day, and on this occasion, students of Grade 8 and 9 from Ocean The ABM School were taken on an Educational Field Trip to the Survey of India at Uppal, Hyderabad. This initiative is part of the school’s continuous efforts to offer academic knowledge with diversified exposure to various fields.

Survey of India is a government agency responsible for the preparation of MAPS. During the visit, students gained insight into:

• Indian Tide Gauge

• SAHYOG – SOI Mobile App Educational Map Series

• Road Mapping

• Geodesy

• Photogrammetry Map Reproduction for National Security & Sustainable National Development

• And many other scientific and technological topics.
